We're off on our road trip to Nova Scotia - first Montreal

We set off on Sunday to Montreal via the Canadian route and did fine until we got there and found that they were almost demolishing the whole city and there were dug up roads and re-routing everywhere!! Most confusing. Our hotel was interesting!! A very old one with a sex shop downstairs, however we were in the newer part - see the photo. It was at St.Catherine and Rue Saint Laurent.

We had booked dinner at Chez Creperie Suzette on Rue Saint Paul in Old Montreal - great place but funnily no liquor outside. We sat outside anyway and had crepes - Wouter and I had shrimp Crepe with Lobster sauce - yum and non-alcoholic cider. Our waiter Fred was very nice and friendly - here are a couple of photos at the restaurant.
